Anybody that doesn't respect Bernard Hopkins better be a multi division champion or a holder of the Congressional Medal of Honor, Victoria Cross, or some other equivalent national acknowledgement of bravery.

Like he "scaled himself down" to fight smaller fighters

In other words, he fought weight drained for 10 years successfully.

In other words, he beat up on smaller fighters.

I have a bronze star, two Army commendation medals, been to Iraq and Afghanistan.
I have two college degrees and I have no criminal record even after growing up in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the country.
I wouldn't say I'm brave but I have no respect for quitters.

I've always respected him. I liked him a lot more when he was promoting himself 10 years ago and nobody would give him a fair shake. I think he deserves all the fans he has now, because I remember when all ESPN did was hate on his "boring style" and how he would price himself out of bouts. But yeah, I guess I'm like a boxing hipster...once everyone else starts to jump on a bandwagon I find new boxers to like

Pascal may have gotten the nod over Dawson but it's generally known that Pascal was pratically out on his feat when they stopped the fight.
No respect for a guy who cries his way out of a match.

you're just showing your a$$. no respect for bhop. wow, now YOU sir are a true keyboard gangsta.

love to know what fighters you respect, if you don't respect hopkins.
