You don't have to like him, but you better respect his accomplishments.

Not much respect for a fighter who built his career on beating up big name, two divisions smaller fighters. Only a few wins get legitamacy in my book.

It's ironic that you're crying about me expressing my opinion something that this forum is for. Now discuss the topic or stfu.
not respecting bhop? that's ***n ****** and so is your hidden poll.

so you have no respect for a guy who's been a professional boxer since 1988 (21 years- longer than a bunch of dudes on this forum are old, djtmal is 17).

he spent 11 years as a world champion MW. 20 defenses of the ibf title.

he's beaten guys who were heavily favored to beat him at the top levels of the sport convincingly. one of them a HOF'er.

he beat the lineal champion at 175 45 years old, you know, the young lion that beat chad dawson.

he's universally considered one of the smartest fighters in boxing.

but........boxingtech of boxingscene doesn't RESPECT him?????? are you kidding me? because him and winky hugged for a lot of the fight, but bhop clearly shut down winky's jab game. and you think he threw the fight vs dawson- which is in itself ridiculous considering bhop's track record.

you may not LIKE bhop. but not respecting bhop? c'mon man. tighten up your threads and then there can be some respectable convo in them. this one was basically shut down in one post

And I expect you to say some **** that actually ends up giving Bernard credit.

Like he "scaled himself down" to fight smaller fighters

In other words, he fought weight drained for 10 years successfully.

Yeah behop has had a long career but what has he done for me lately? That's what we ask of all fighters not just Bhop.
I don't really care how much your feelings are hurt by my disrespect for grandma bumpkins.
Pascal may have gotten the nod over Dawson but it's generally known that Pascal was pratically out on his feat when they stopped the fight.
No respect for a guy who cries his way out of a match.
