A quiet round for Sam, and Maskaev bossed it. At this rate it will go the twelve and Maskaev will get robbed on the cards.

Sam is a small wonder to behold though... he'll let Maskaev hit him flush in the face about ten times then just carry on walking forward without so much as a blink. His chin's a concrete breeze block!

    10-9 Oleg.

The crowd seem to think Sam is winning, but Oleg's just too fast and too good a boxer for him.

What's funny is that when he hits Sam it seems to hurt him more. Sam can KO him, but he's only got 9 minutes left in which to do it...

        10-9 Oleg.

I'm writing these quickly (a minute a time, natch) but in case I haven't described it properly, each round is following the same basic pattern: Sam has ring centre, Oleg is patrolling the ropes, picking away at him with the jab.

Maskaev seems to be landing about 3 to 1 punches, but Sam just has this "I don't give a ****" expression every time. His chin is class, no question.

          10-9 Maskaev.

Getting sloppy as both are tired, Sam frustrated. Sam warned for rabbit punch, Maskaev for use of the head.

However, Sam loses a point for a headbutt (looked like a shoulder to me)

10-8 Maskaev... stays on his feet for three minutes and he's won it clearly.

Don't forget where the're fighting. All SSS needs to do is hang in there.

Really a surprise that Maskaev is doing so well. Interesting. Nice updates.

Boooo on Sam. He was lethargic against Juan Carlos Gomez. Maskaev has too weak of a chin to be a dominant force.

Sam moderately rocked with flush shots that would have at least KD'd most heavies out there... Sam just blinks.

However - SSS's exceptional chin aside - he was outboxed tonight. I had it 118-109 Maskaev. There's no way SSS won that fight.
