You know, I had talked to Roy Jones Sr around that time and he had picked Lamar to beat Gerlad. Lamar was a better boxer-puncher and as heavy handed I believe.

I wanted Lamar to go after Hopkins, I thought around that time Lamar was simply put THE BETTER FIGHTER! With that said I still didnt want him fighting Gerald.

How would you of seen Hopkins vs. Parks had they of fought back in 95 or so?

Lamar Parks is truly one of those forgotten fighters in the sport that will only get the recognition he deserves amongst his peers...BTW how is his health?

Every time I talk to Lamar he always seems good... as far as I know he has gotten up to over 200 pounds and feels good. Lamar is forgotten and that's too bad because he was hitting his prime years and , IMO, he could have definitely beaten Hopkins and anybody else expcet for probably RJ and Toney

Im glad that Im not the only one who thinks he would have beaten Hopkins-too me at that time he would have beat him worse then Jones did.

I agree no one was touching Jones and I would have had a hard time picking him against McCelllan but who knows-I sure as hell would have been rooting for him.
