Hopkins was wanted the rematch weeks after the fight.

Dawson said no. never.

In fact he said he would relinquish his title if they forced him to fight Hopkins.

But with all the sh$t talk on Hopkins about how Dawson would never give Hopkins a shot why would anyone think that Hopkins would give him another shot now.

see how much money HBO or Showtime would put up first before saying hopkins is ducking dawson because we know damn sure this wouldn't be a PPV event again being the first fight did LESS than 50 thousand buys. If HBO is willing to put up approximately $3 million, which I doubt, then call him a ducker. If not, there is no point fighting dawson for espn money.

That's after the WBC reversed the ruling and Chad had made numerous comments about never giving Bhop a rematch.
