If you happen to be from england, all those guys would simply be "fighters" to you and not "foreign fighters." this is a childish topic, the real reason is why can't you form even a base understanding of someone else's perspective? how do you suppose they view American fighters over there? hmm

you speak like a person who has never left the neighborhood they grew up

          Were they? Who thought that?

I can't remember them being KOed by a 42\1 underdog

no way dude look at his elite resume. look at his mesmerizing performances against elite guys like sheika and donnell wiggins. look at the way he would bash his opponents behind the head with wild clubbing punches. he was an elite level talent. i mean he beat manfredo jr and even knocked him down. something the great joe calzaghe couldn't do.

no one. hbo/promoters like to find british bums to sacrifice so their hyped up guys can look good. there's something more appealing seeing a british guy get destroyed then any other nationality. i don't know why. it's similar to how klitschko's find ameribums like briggs to beat up so the german fans can go nuts (politely clap.)

                Nobody was hyping those fighters.

What does ts mean by hype? Are British fans saying so and so fighter is going to be the best p4p fighter ever..? I cant think of one fighter who has that label, if anything from the British fans i know they cant wait to slate British fighters when they loose. The only people who hype these fighters are promotors..its their job and if you cant see through the bs then you need to learn some life skills.

British fighters receive a lot of support from vocal fans. On every boxing website there is a group of British boxing fans, it's why fighters from Argentina, Italy, France etc aren't regarded as ' hype jobs '.

People from those countries don't populate a boxing website like the British do. That and the fact fighters over here are normally brought up too softly or don't have it what it takes and get exposed against world class operators.

Also not as many people speak Italian or French. Britain and the US share a language so we can always break eachothers balls

How was Hatton over-hyped.... the guy only lost two fights, one to Floyd (Cortez) above his normal 140lb division and the other to Manny. If you aren't allowed to lose to the top two pound 4 pound who can you lose to?
