While I don't think it will happen, if Ward stops Froch I won't be surprised. I think he wants this fight bigtime, and when he see's how easy he can hit Froch he may start sitting down on his punches more. If he does stop him I don't see Carl going down and out, but having the ref jump in where he can't protect himself anymore.

'Dre put down the crack pipe.

Carl Froch is not going to come at Ward like a freight train, he's going to box clever in this one.

He's gonna keep Ward at range with the reach advantage, then step in with the big shots from angles.

It's not the 1st and 2nd punch that Ward's got to worry about, because Froch often paws with them - it's the 3's and 4's that come in like missiles that will hurt him.

When Ward comes in close, Froch has a really good uppercut and is supremely strong inside. From the outside Ward will be aiming to jab fast to the stomach / chest of Froch - but Carl will be looking to time him on that one.

McCracken will say to Carl "just hit Andre everywhere for the first few rounds - chest, neck, arms" to nullify his speedy attacks.

Andre is litterally going to be putting that head into the lion's jaws and he'd better be quick enough to pull it back out again or he could get tagged extremely hard and then taken out.

He needs to do the absolute basics. Cute 1-2's , good defence and footwork and avoid getting hot & bothered by it. He needs to keep his cool all the way through til the end.

remember when taylor outclassed froch the whole fight, but then gassed out.....this will be the same thing, except ward doesnt gas out

i wouldnt be surprised to see a ko, but it will most likely go the distance......

Don't see a ko by ward.

Do see a lopsided coming out party for ward. Froch has had some wars. Ward is fresher and will firmly entrench himself as the best at 168 with this 1.

                Ward wins by murder.
Carl was all over looking like an amateur when he fought The Matrix
Ward's clever and more technical and tougher.
Ward will systematically break Carl down and the fight will be sad to watch.
Possible late stoppage or Carl doing something ****** to just get out of there.

I'm honestly not pumped for this fight at all because of the location. This would be a good fight anywhere else except cali. Just bs for a final of a tourney to be someones advantage. Should be a neutral site or if it had to be in the states, Vegas. Carl has to know he needs a ko to win, so it might end up interesting, but i'll read about it after the fight. HATE WARD and WHEN ward beats frotch on points, i look forward to a bute ward fight

WTF are you talking about? The fight is in Atlantic City not California.

A real boxing fan would know that. And would be pumped up for this fight regardless of where it's being held. It's the two best super middleweights on the planet going at it, for ****'s sake.

You must be a casual fan who only got into the sport because of Bute. A Butard, if you will.

Froch can definitely be stopped, anyone can be.

Froch has a good chin but I don't think it's as good as people like to think.

I just don't think Ward has the power to take Froch out.

Although I don't think Ward hit's as lightly as a lot of others think he does either.
