I couldn't disagree more with this article. Peterson deserved to win, Khan never once looked brilliant, and I don't have any problem with the ref's performance.

Without the deductions, Khan would have gotten the UD.

and a year or so ago he wrote a long article about how he thought sven ottke was a HOFER and how he voted for him


unless you think ottke > frazier then this guy should have zero credibility in your eyes.

This article is a disgrace! To be that danm bias ir ridiculous. Khan is not far more skilled than Peterson as he showed. He's longer and faster....that ends his advantages. For the 3rd fight in a row, Khan has proven he isn't an elite boxer and needs to keep Mayweather's name out his mouth cuz he'd get embarrassed. Focus on the Judah's and Bradley's of the division....well, not Bradley cuz that will never happen. But, Alexander, Berto and Ortiz is the type of fights he needs to concentrate on.

What a complete joke. I actually thought it was refreshing to see a ref actually not afraid to call fouls against the "name" fighter and take points away that were deserved. It's only shocking beacuse almost no refs will ever do it. Fouls are fouls, pushing is against the rules, and holding a guys head down and headlocking him constantly is against the rules. I still don't understand how the HBO clowns actually didn't believe he warned Khan, because I heard it several times and he gave him as clear a warning as you can when he said "this is the last time stop pushing off." How much clearer can a ref be? I had the fight 113-112 Petterson, so yes on my card the points cost Khan the fight, but he committed them and has no one to blame but himself for them. I'm not sure I have ever been happier about a guy winning a fight than that. Lamont has quickly become one of my favorite fighters in the sport, and by the way his trainer may be my favorite trainer in all of boxing. I wanted to go find someone to hit in the face listening to his corner advice.

I dont know what fight this writer was watching but nothing stinks about the decision that went down in DC to me, Yes i thought the point deduction was uncalled for but then again the referee made his intention clear by warning Khan on numerous occassions, This is actually one fight where the lesser known name was actually been able to get a deserve decision in boxing for a while now.
