113-112 peterson mainly because khan went long stretches without trying to hurt peterson where peterson sat on his punches. Khan also was in constant retreat and seemed unable to handle pressure aeb constant holding and pushing. When a fighter does these things its not like it makes no difference, it gives the impression that you can't handle the pressure. lederman always says effective aggression wins rounds

khan 113-112 but who cares. Could have gone either way and khan shouldn't have let this happen.

You have to score the deductions because they were ruled. You simply can't make up rules as you go. With that said, I had Khan by 1 point or 2. I kind of forgot what the points would of added to. There was close rounds so no problem with Peterson being the champ.

Clearly won the fight, yet the poll is very close, actually with Peterson leading. Also, even the people with Khan edging had it by like a point. He clearly did NOT win this fight. It could of went either way.

I know Kahn is pretty hated on this board, but come on.

1st thing is that he gets 1 Knockdown in the first round. Period. Second thing is that point deductions with no official point warning, i.e. every referee at one point will observe what a fighter is doing, pull them aside, and give them a warning: "You do that again. I'm going to take a point."

I have Kahn winning even with the point deductions. He won both the rounds he had points deducted in.

He won 1, 2. No argument there. The fight was not even until round 3 and then it went back and forth the rest of the way. Peterson won 5 and Kahn won 5 after that. 10-8, 10-9 and minus 2 points has Kahn winning by 1 point. Even with the ridiculous point deductions.
              __________

And all the haters, Kahn has guts. He's one of the few fighters going and making fights. And he didn't have to fight in D.C. If you deny that, you might as well not even bother watching fights.

Kids got guts. Hope to see more fights from him.
Really there shouldn't have been any kd's...He was tripped both times. And I have no problem with the point deductions, Khan constantly pushed and held his head down.

It was a good close fight that deserves a rematch!

That's what I saw as well Khan hit him with a judo sweep both times with his leg behind Peterson's.
Khan was on his mma last night, elbows, headlocks, grappling, trips, is khan facing Jose Aldo next?
Or is he going to run track next? Because Peterson was the aggresor all night and had Khan on his Hayabusa all night.

No way in hell I can give this fight to Khan, he looked awful and ate too many bombs. He barely got himself into the fight after Peterson got tired by 8th round.

as a khan fan i have to say he looked horrible and different from what i expected. i mean we know he's not good at inside fighting but the way he handled peterson is just not appropriate. if an opponent comes into powerpunch range you don't push him away, hold or even foul him constantly. you either cut the ring or trade. the peterson kd was imo just a push and not a legit deduction. khan got 1 deducted for pushing, and the other for hitting on break - both deserved. i still remain a khans fan and believe he will come out of this stronger, but he has to go back to the drawing table. he needs to learn to trade.
floyd is also known to set a distance in his fights like khan does, but he knows also how and when to trade.
