Can a case be made to rank Ike higher than Vitaly?

Can a case be made for ranking Ike Ibeabuchi higher all time at heavyweight than Vitaly Klitschko?

    Vote and discuss.

Not only Ibeabuchi, but Byrd and Tua as well.

Any Klitschko nutthuggers care to refute this post?

You can also make a case for Ibeabuchi being rated higher than Vitali. He out****** a prime Tua and in only 5 rounds, knocked Byrd into a temporary state of ******ation.

To rate a guy who is only 4th or 5th best of his era, IN THE WORST ERA EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION, is just simply (to quote the great philosopher Mike Tyson) ludicrous.

Im a Klitschko fan but when you think about it...you could argue it. I cant see it doing any good with the Klitschko faithful tbh though..

Vitali vs. Ike would have been interesting...just as Ike vs. Lewis would have been interesting.

Ike Ibeabuchi....he could have had so many interesting wars.

He had alot of potential to be great but I seriously hope you are not basing this on the Byrd fight Jab, no one actually considers Byrd's "win" over VK meaningful. He literally could have been any random bum who was good enough to survive for 9 rounds.

Ike Ibeabuchi was probably better than Sam Peter but would get blasted out by Haye. Sorry Ibeabuchis career to toooo short to say its better than Dr Ironballs.

No this has nothing to do with the Byrd fight, though I totally disagree "He literally could have been any random bum who was good enough to survive for 9 rounds." I made this thread because another poster suggested Ibeabuchi ranks higher all time in another thread.

Im not saying I agree at all, I just thought it would make for an interesting topic. Truth be told I find Ike INCREDIBLY over rated. Fun to watch, but a win over Byrd and a life and death struggle with Tua just don't do it for me.

I highly doubt that. Haye would be pissing his pants against Ibeabuchi and than be walked down. Ike ain't all that, but a soft chin and one punch at a time isn't going to stop him. Ike puts Haye to sleep.

Has Vitali ever beaten a fighter who was better than Byrd? Until he does, you really need to shut fck up about "any random bum" Stop making excuses.

Ike Knocked the snot out of Byrd in only 5 rounds. Thats a far superior showing than all 3 Klitschko fights.

While I agree with this, longevity and dominance have to be considered when ranking all time also. While Vitaly's opposition rates very low over all, so does Ike's. His biggest wins are a former super middleweight and a short one dimensional slugger, and he was never the same again afterwards. Historical ranking can be based on 1 or 2 fights, it has to be based on a whole career. Jmo.
