translate that to-Found a keeper from the former biggest ego in the world:
"Now that's why you shouldn't have excess body fat. A lean 30 year-old, healthy athlete shouldn't have joints or ligament popping for no reason," said Haye. "Solis knew how to beat Vit, but years of obesity stopped him being able to execute. He will unfortunately go down as yet another fat bum."
Haye, who lost to Solis 10 years ago in the amateur ranks, fought a man who was 46lbs lighter that night. Solis weighed in at 248.5 lbs against Klitschko.
"He beat me 10 years ago when he weighed 46lbs less. That's my point. He used to be ripped. Why become obese before a huge fight?"
- David Haye
"I desperately don't want to get sparked by Solís, he's done me before and it ain't happening again.
All athletes get injuries such as back backs (ahem), or even swollen little piggies (Haye's name for pinky toes).
Solís may be a fat bum but at least he knows how to box and he came close to winning a round -vs- Vitali, which is more than can be said for what I, a wannabe bodybuilder with limited boxing skills and no footwork (I admit jumping isn't really footwork), did -vs- Wladimi.r And at least he 'knew' how to beat Vitali whereas I had one gameplan which was to land one 'Hayemaker' which I couldn't even throw anyway because of my little piggy/lack of basic footwork. I might add that I found it very upsetting that Larry Merchant was laughing at this gameplan, he just doesn't understand the pressure of being the Hayemaker, it's hard when you're not as good as you'd like to be and a big scary Ukranian that everyone likes better is bullying you".
jesus, who would quote DAVID HAYE? the drivel that comes out of his mouth, i do not think that one honest word from his heart has ever come out of his mouth in public. Except for admitting that he basically didn't have a gameplan -vs- Wladimir, but anyone who couldn't see that would be barking mad anyway.
Solís needs to sort his act out BUT at least he has an act to sort out.
The odds of Haye ever beating the Klitschkos are awful. The odds of Solís doing it, well lets wait and see but at least he COULD.
What is Haye gonna do- start learning how to do his footwork in his 30's? Yep, OK...Comment

not having a go but have to say i find your comments interesting coming from a frankie gavin fan...
do you happen to like chubby women too?Comment

yup.
and even IF it was the punch that did Solís in then he is a truly great actor and therefore would also beat Haye in Hollywood.Comment

It's a shame becuase Solis is and could have been an amazing pro. He has a good style, hits hard and has decent speed. He decided to get fat and it went to pot. I feel he wont be able to loose the weight and thus he wont ever get back from title contention. If only he were to have been lean his whole career, he could have maybe beaten Klit that night?Comment
