This is one of those videos that the Pacquiao faithful will blissfully ignore, and mostly because of the sound effects. The sound effects take away from the stark reality of the piece, a reality that many a fan has pointed out to the ridicule of the Pacquiao fanatic.

pac just outboxed someone who many consider one of the best boxers of the era, comfortably winning by 4 rounds - and only losing rounds in which he was bored/uninterested.

when freddie roach told him to step it up, he swept the last 4 rounds.

we can conclude now that pac has exceptional speed, power, chin and skills.

"It was a very close fight. We were able to squeeze it out. I thought the fight was very close but Manny pulled out those last two rounds" - Freddie Roach

"Manny was moving in the wrong direction a little bit too much. He was moving in the direction of Marquez's right hand a lot. I don't think that he fought a great fight." - Freddie Roach

That probably did play a minor part but 95 percent of the credit goes to Marquez he came in and put together a good fight plan even at a weight that was unfavorable to him. Pac had every advantage going in so how could he get psyched out? If he did then that's poor of Roach to not get on top of that quickly.

He has improved, I still remember one-handed Pacquiao. He now uses his right, mixes up his attack a lot better, thing is he's never shown these improvements against a very good technical fighter, a fighter of Marquez's style, that's all there is to it. Still, good video.

But at the same time one need only look at that fight without pac hatred or floyd colored glasses to see how remarkably pac has improved. He countered marquez's counters repeatedly. Noone does that to marquez. Not even floyd.
I'll have to agree with this. He has clearly improved from years ago but as Nacho said, it backfired in this fight.

Manny is where he is today in boxing because of the way he has been handled. They did a very good job with him and his fights. He's beatin some big time names BUT at an advantage over them, wether it be catchweight or a fighter on a decline. When was the last time Manny beat a legit primed fighter at a legit weight? I'd say never. Oh wait maybe when he beat Barrera back in 03 when Barrera had already 61 fights and had been through some wars already.

in the end it simply comes to this:

manny had a bad night and marquez was at the top of his game, was able to fully utilize his added weight (unlike his fight with floyd), was 100% in the fight.

                    and manny STILL won.

                    end off.

I think most will disregard this video because it's the same story made by the same biased fools on the internet.

I could easily put together a video, with a fighters flaws, to prove that fighter is overrated......but bull**** videos like this exist because there is an audience for it.
