I dont think he failed necessarily. He definitely looked uncomfortable though and minimized his own strengths.

But at the same time one need only look at that fight without pac hatred or floyd colored glasses to see how remarkably pac has improved. He countered marquez's counters repeatedly. Noone does that to marquez. Not even floyd.

That's fine, but Marquez countered Pac more than vice versa, that's what won him the fight.
