His excellent defense, though the Chavez robbery will be his most memorable bout. Whitaker didn't have good luck with decisions, considering Chavez wasn't even the biggest robbery he was apart of.

Probably getting robbed by Chavez and losing a razor thin decision to oscar. His defense was incredible though. One of the best ever.

For most, obviously his defense. For me, it'll always be his versatility, while he was great defensively, his offense was also great, his precise body punching, southpaw jab, physical strength despite his size, what area did he lack in?

            Dude was insanely versatile.

I remember his mastery of defense.

And doing lots and lots of coke.

              Gambeino knows what's up:

That's what everyone seems to forget. I LOVE watching him step in and rip shots to the body like a Mexican.

                  His defence.

It is a pleasure to watch his defensive highlights.

The more I watch Whitaker the more I see him as the most complete fighter of the last 30 years. Only Duran rivals him in that span with Floyd coming in behind that.

The same way Marquez was robbed against MS.Pac Man.
