Cinco Day Mayo is the biggest fight weekend of the year; hence why everybody wants that date. If Manny can fight at the end of May then he can fight at the beginning of it. He has to spar so 3 weeks either wouldn't let heal better or worse use your brains.

It all depends on how long the NSAC takes to medically clear Pacquaio for the fight (unless its in another state). I see a 3 month medical suspension then 8-10 week training camp.

I always thought May 5 was unusually close anyways considering Pac just fought.

He fought in Nov of 2010 then May 2011 vs Shane; hell he fought Dec of 08 vs Oscar then fought in May of 09 vs Hatton then fought in Nov of 09 vs Cotto. So try another theory and that cut wasn't that bad.
