Is team Pacquiao taking a long time for the cut to heal? Possibly. Is there any reason on god's green earth why May 5th Cinco De Mayo is D-day for a fight between an African American and a Philipino? No. An arbitrarily set date at a venue that doesn't even fit the actual fight is meaningless.

Both Manny and Floyd have fought around that date before, and not against Mexicans. In fact, Manny fought Hatton and Shane around the Cinco De Mayo date.

the illegal and diliberate headbutt from marquez caused a gash to manny that went deep too the bone !!!!!!! even mannys physician said as much a few weeks ago !!!!! now i know some of you guys hate manny because he destroyed fighters that a certain boxer refused to step in the ring with , but i think you guys should put aside your biased oppinions and be fair and unbiased like me and admitt you want both fighters to go into the fight at 100% so there wont be any controversies if one should loose !!!!

Cinco de mayo is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. It may not reflect the fighters in the main event but load up the undercard with some of the more popular Mexican fighters and you have the makings of a huge event = more $$$

It couldn't be more clear as to who's ducking. A cut is preventing the so called P4P king from going out there and proving what he has to prove to the world? On this note, we'll never see this fight happen. Manny is prone to cuts at the hands of Floyd Mayweather. Bob Arum knows that Floyd will open that boy right on up.
