As far as Gatti/Leija goes. I see Leija not only winning, but winning pretty easily. Gatti when its all said and done is really not that good. Gatti has struggled badly with guys like Hutchinson, Branco and Ward and Leija is much much better than any of those guys.

Gatti has lost everytime he has stepped up in class and I see this as being no different.

I keep hearing that; Gatti isnt that good, etc. No, he's not the best to hit the ring, but I think he's more talented than alot give him credit for. His career was basically supposed to be over years ago (before Ward) and he's an even bigger name now than he was then. I think Buddy has done him a world of good and really has a good chance against Leija (which I'm extremely bias, I admit ).

He's not and his people know he's not that good. They have shamelessy protected him through out his career. Look at the guys they have kept him from its a who's who of boxing.

Tracy-Gatti is like 5'7-5'8 and usually comes in to fight around 155-158, Leija is like 5'4-5'5 and comes in around 148-50 limit so Gatti has a bit of an advantage especially in the weight department.

Gatti has always shown weaknesses against guys who box with him, Had Branco boxed the early rounds he would have won that fight....Gatti is good with glass chinned cans and brawlers, any guy who moves will outpoint Gatti in every department.

Fair enough. But do you atleast find him exciting, with that warrior-never quit attitude..I mean, he fights with broken hands and everything! I've seen other "greats" quit for much less. Few give it everything they have in the ring the way he does; he fights like it's his last fight every time he enters the ring. I've yet to see a boring fight with him in it. Guy has alot of heart

Wow! I didnt realize the size difference was that vast! I still hope he wins this cause he's my favorite active fighter today and makes good fights (we share the same birthday, which means squat to anyone else, but I think its funky!!)

Gatti won't ko Leija. Gatti may win but he won't knock Leija out. Leija is a pretty tough fighter himself and he also is the better boxer skillwise in my opinion. Since Gatti has been with Buddy Mcgirt the only fighter Gatti has outboxed using his boxing skills was a shot Terron Millet. Leija is no Terron Millet. I think it will be a boxing match at first with the edge going to Leija and then it will fall into a brawl where I think Leija will hold his own and get a close decision. Gatti needs this fight to be a brawl because I don't think he can outbox Leija.

I think Gotti will win but either way it should be a very good fight. Gotti needs this fight and he always comes ready to fight. It will be a long night for Leija. When its over no matter what happens Leija is gonna know he was in a fight.
