I don't think Cotto was hurt and he werent slowing down at all, his punches still had plenty of snap on them in the 9th.

Well, I wished Cotto could have put him down. Maybe one more round it is all he needed. Margo is just not what he used to be.

Here are the facts: Cotto gave Margs a boxing lesson for 9 solid rounds. Defense, check. Sharper punches, check. Ring Generalship, check. Miguel was versatile with his punch selection and kept Tony off his rhythm by switching up his lead punches, clinching in close, turning Margs and yes, bulling Margs to the ropes. Cotto landed more total punches, more power punches and at a sick connect %. Margs landed few clean, sharp, damaging punches but managed to throw a ton of half a** arm punches.

Here is the minority opinion: Margs could've, would've, should've done this or that in the last 3 rounds if the doc didn't stop the fight. Sure, on what merit? He's lucky the ref took pity on his eye, I would've let him sacrifice that eye and embarrass himself by getting KTFO! And Margs manager is right, it's not a great Cotto win only because Margs is not a great fighter. Thanks for ridding of us of that classless cheat Cotto.

man thats theme thing that happen in the first fight how many of yall thought margarito was gonna outbox cotto. quit talking out yalls azzes and try to act like cotto ko margarita. The truth is the fight was stop too early and cotto never really hurt mar, AND margarito was starting to get to cotto. Call it like it is dont over hype this **** up man......And whats up with all the hating on marg is not like he hasnt paid the price for the wrapps. It's actually quite astounding how ignorant some people are on here, acting as if Cotto was in bits at the end of the 9th and didn't want to continue and the doctor saved him. I don't know what fight you were watching, but Margarito barely layed a glove on him. I know it's not an ideal way for any fight to end, but Cotto won pretty much every round.

You Margarito fans need to stop *****ing about nothing and take the defeat like men.
