I guess people will see what they want to see. If the fight goes 12 rounds, Cotto would've won a wide unanimous decision. People here are saying that Cotto didn't hurt Margarito. Fair enough. Did Margarito hurt Cotto? Not once. Cotto didn't look gassed. Margarito never even shook Cotto. On the other hand, Margarito lost his footing twice with Cotto shots. In one particular instance, he held the rope and took Cotto with him. This fight never would've gone the distance, but Margarito was never going to win either. Cotto's game plan and preparation was obviously top notch.

Miguel Cotto got into that ring with onr thing in mind, end Margaritos career once and for all. The only expression I saw.in his face at.the.end wasnt at all of a tired or hurted fighter but of one that wasnt pleased.with the doctors stopping the fight. He was going to batyer Margarito badly, that ninth rd was the begining of cottos true revenge, the fight was already won, mararito had no pop left in his punches and started get pushed around get beat up nd clearly get hurt. All of Margaritos team, fans, and himself should be thankful cause that doctor saved him from the real beating that was coming for.him. We all saw a different cotto last night, no sportsmanship was necesary. Justice has.been served and it.served as a slap in the face for bob arum as well, hopefully cotto will part ways with top rank for good.

I dont understand the Mexicans here!! ALL THREE scorecards were 89-82 @ the time of the stoppage. Cotto was gassed?! His best round connect rate wise was arguably the 9th. He took a few good power shots by Margacheato over the course of the fight and was never rattled. He boxed beautifully, hit the other guy while avoiding getting hit as much as possible. I mean, that is the object of the sport, hit while avoid getting hit, right?! Oh, AND he landed 51% of his power shots!
Mexicans are delusional here. No worries, you guys have plenty of true warriors to root for. No need to waste your energy on this Cheater!

I said in a different post that I have always admired Cotto's skills and he boxed beautifully last night. He earned that TKO but lets be real folks. Although i agree with most that Margarito is just a big brute with no skills, it was obvious Cotto wasn't hurting him with his punches. The only difference last night was Cotto having a better game plan. Instead of taking punishment on the ropes like he did the first time they fought, Cotto used more head and lateral movement and held on when Margarito got close. So from looking at this fight last night, i really don't think Margarito used hand wraps and the only difference is Cotto fighting smarter.

Nah my man,he used plastic wraps,because if you look at it,he did touch his face JUST enough in this fight to display the same damage in this fight.BUT,he didn't,so what that tells you.
