I was using that silly occurrence to show that some people are superstitious enough to try anything, and I'd just posted in that since the silly used gauze strip had no actual damage potential, maybe the trainer was superstitious enough because of an old Mayan folk tale, to use it to see if it would help Margarito.
Because he knew before the fight that Margarito was in trouble, he came into camp weighing 190, for the first time ever. Also the camp scales later proved to be 2 lbs light so he had a hell of a time taking off the weight. Remember he weighed in at 145.5, the lightest in many years. He was finished even before the fight began. So I just joked that if Foreman, who WAS very su****ious, could use witchdoctors, (WHICH HE DID) maybe the Mexican Capetillo, who must have much Mayan blood, might have heard of an old wives tale about some spell on using a used item for fighting. Basically a joke.
