All our biggest fight's this year were disappointments. Hopkins fight, Ortiz vs Mayweather, Pac vs JMM, and the NYC Stoppage for Margarito. In my opinion we've had better years. This was a bad year.

It hasn't ended yet... we still have Khan -vs- Peterson and Ward -vs- Froch to savour. Both are very exciting fights on paper!

You make a good case for it being a bad year.. but I quite enjoyed this year for some reason. Most of my favourite fighters all performed well and won in some fashion or another (at least to me). Khan, Marquez, Cotto all did well. Hopkins did great beating Pascal but yes the Dawson fight was saddening.

Boxing is already in a bad way, Think of the amount of casual fans who tuned in to watch that fight and saw a complete robbery...
Just added to the stigma fans have, especially casual fans that "boxing is going to ****."

TBH 2010 was a tough year to live up to. I think there has been a fair amount of disappointments (Donaire/Narvez, Manny/Mosley, Haye/Klitschko), but also a some great fights (Kirkland/Angulo, Rios/Salido).
