2 rounds.... Cotto would've knocked Margarito's eye right out of the socket.

Margarito reminds me of this guy.

Ummm... nah. Nah dude, I seriously doubt it. I would have thought Margarito could put on more pressure and walk down Cotto, but he never cut off the ring like in the first fight, and he was far from building that kind of momentum. All talk about loaded gloves aside, Cotto had a much better gameplan and made Margarito fight his fight.

Margarito should blame his corner, if anyone, for not stopping the Pacquiao fight earlier. He should have been protected from himself, instead they let him suffer a huge amount of unnecessary punishment over the course of at least 4 rounds, when it was evident that he was out of it.

The damage he sustained in the Pacquiao beating played a major role in the stoppage yesterday.

the damage he took from Pacquiao single handedly won Cotto the fight

You have never put on a ****ing pair of gloves in your life and in your hero didint wear them, you would have no idea what their function would serve nor would you have any idea how the padding is slightly different but doesnt favor fighters who are trying to protect your hands, god you are dumb as hell. Id knock the **** out of you with a well padded winning glove you little ****.

lol please, Margarito didn't win a single round. Even before his eye swoll up he was being outclassed and lost every round.

Bottom line, Cotto is just a better fighter, and a better man.

I agree it was a big factor, but also it did become clear Cotto had a better gameplan this time around. Comparing the two fights, Cotto was much less stationary, circling more, turning Margarito, being a moving target... I wonder how much of the gameplan was due to Pedro Diaz being his trainer... If he devised the plan, good job! Now I´m excited to find out what Cotto can do against guys like Chavez, Canelo, Kirkland, maybe Angulo etc... Good thing he´s back in the mix with those guys, all would be interesting matchups.
