There's absolutely no shame in Murray losing to Rios. We knew beforehand that it was an extremely tough fight to take, that Murray's defence is suspect and that he marks up badly. Murray's a top European level fighter, and was going in with a big-hitting, world level fighter, much bigger than him naturally, and more or less in his own backyard.

The state of his face makes it look like it was completely one-sided, but it only started slipping away from Murray in the mid rounds, he won around three rounds early on before it started slipping away, and there were only really two rounds where you could've said it may've been a bit of a mismatch.

In short, he did better than i thought he would.

Another good win for Rios and this guy Murray has a lot of balls I would like to see him fight again.

Rios didn't look great to me. Looked like he was a little drained.

Maybe the whole 'I haven't eaten' is true, who knows.

But John Murray took another beatdown. Don't know where he goes from here but like I said after the Mitchell fight he won't go far in the fight game.

Rios is a damn monster! It is going to take a fighter brining a hammer into the ring to stop Rios. Rios was obviously weight drained and still came out possessed like a demon. He is going to *** up a lot of fighters before he loses. His will and heart are out of this world. It is the things you find in greats. Not sure if he will become one but could.
