You didn't answer anything. An investor would take as much if not more than Bob Arum. Unless they're investing little, then why would they be needed? If they're willing to put up 75m that means they expect to recoup that and make a profit. So what are you talking about? Simple common sense ought to tell you that for that reason alone, it's BS. There are actually a bunch of reasons why but if you can't even comprehend basic business, there is no use for going there with you.

• Bob Arum did not go outside for Delahoya-Trinidad.
• Mayweather-Delahoya was done by Golden Boy - not outside "investors"
• Tyson - Holyfield I and II got done the conventional way.
• Mayweather - Mosley got done the conventional way

Can someone please explain two things:

1) What makes this fight so fundamentally different in structure and cost* that "outside investors" are required?
2) If you are convinced that this would be the biggest fight in boxing history, why you would want to split that massive revenue with "outside investors"?

Arum doesn't want to share the profits with GBP. So by bringing in investors(instead of partnering with GBP), Arum can have a deal that will give him more share of the profit. While the investors might not get as much as GBP, the financial outcome will be more than the money they put in the fight.

Arum gets his money, investors get their money, Pac and Floyd get their money, and GBP doesn't get a penny. You guys and I might not like Arum, but he is a smart businessman.

If arum doesnt wanna share the profits with GBP NOW, then its understandable that he is the reason it never happened because all previous negotiations were with GBP/MAYWEATHER....
