didn't i already explain that FLOYD NEVER ASKED KONZ TO TALK TO THEM. he simply nodded to everything konz said THEN after he left told everyone within earshot that he wanted Konz to talk to his promoters.

if you put yourself in konz shoes, you would have left Floyd's camp thinking that floyd was ok with all that you offered, not knowing the truth BECAUSE FLOYD NEVER TOLD YOU.

why didn't haymon and/or ellerbe approach Konz then? Manny already made it official that he wants to fight Floyd. Why are they playing so hard to get?

fact is, HE WENT TO FLOYD. why didn't floyd simply tell him to talk to haymon or ellerbe? who would have thought that Floyd wouldn't do the right thing and point Konz to them? would it have killed floyd to simply have given their contact numbers and told Konz to talk to them?

all floyd had to say was, "Talk to al haymon and ellerbe. they represent me. here's their contact numbers and we'll start our negotiations from there".

    SIMPLE!

all im going to say is, Floyd also denied he was fighting Victor Ortiz or even fighting at all up until they signed the contract.

it's all for the best imo. public negotiations are not going to be successful that much can be said. arum and the investors are not doing anyone any favors by bringing it all to the public. if they keep doing it, i expect floyd to say who the **** is manny pacquiao?

arum was the main one saying he wasn't going to negotiate in the media.

Because that was done before only for Ellerbe to deny negotiations ever taking place? Haymon went silent while Greenburg confirmed it did happen.
Ellerbe also back-tracked later on, stating that bringing an unacceptable offer is not considered negotiating (then counter b!tch!)...

Fact of the matter is, Koncz went to the man directly, with the investors who most likely did most of the talking (its their money).
According to one of the investors, dropping the defamation suit is part of the deal, which seems like a peace offering from Team Pac.

Floyd also recently stated that he is the A-side and noone is making him an offer, since HE makes the offer to his opponents... Then where is his offer to Pac?

Floyd's ego is getting in the way on their end, as much as Arum getting in the way on Manny's end.

I understand what you are saying, they do need to put a lid on these deals, especially one that can net $300mm+ in revenue...
But don't flat out lie and deny ****, how bout just STFU and get it done?

That applies to both parties. It just looks bad, in regards to their credibility.

I wish that manny would fire Konz and get himself another promoter.

nonetheless, its good that Manny sent Konz to floyd's camp. it shows that Manny meant it when he said he wanted to make the fight happen.

but, as jrosales pointed out, Manny should follow it up and send Konz to talk to BOTH haymon and ellerbe. at this point, i'm not putting this against Manny for not sending Konz to them since its still fresh news that Konz HAS TO TALK TO THOSE TWO FIRST.

if after a week or so and Konz STILL didn't talk to either Haymon or ellerbe... THEN i'm gonna place the blame on BOTH camps. AGAIN.

So Manny is instructing Bob Arum to delay the fight?
