Fucking ******s of course the lawsuit has to be dropped if they want to get serious in negotiations.

Arum doesn't want to get involved with Haymon and Ellerbe, if he isn't talking to Haymon or Ellerbe they aren't negotiating with Floyd. This was all in his diatribe about why Schaeffer shouldn't talk, but realistically speaking Floyd would be higher on the pecking order because the fight can go on without Arum involved it can't happen without Floyd~ so Arum is in no place to say anything like who he will and will not deal with in regards to making the fight~.

If he is serious anyways~, he can talk to third parties with bankrolls all he wants doesn't really get to the heart of the matter which is getting both guys to sign to fight

Why do people keep saying this when Bob Arum himself has already said that if Floyd is serious about making the fight that he would drop the lawsuit? According to Bob Arum, that wouldn't even be a roadblock in negotiations. I don't understand why people act so dumb - even after they get presented facts and evidence contrary to their positions.

It makes no difference whether or not Pacquiao wants to fight Mayweather if he isn't going to force Arum to negotiate in good faith. Pacquiao has to sign any contract for whatever opponent that he fights. You don't send a random person to Mayweather's gym, when he doesn't even know whats going on, and claim that you were in negotiations. A 3rd grader can see that Arum wants no parts of a Mayweather negotiation. Apparently there are Pacquiao fans here that haven't reached that grade level, though.

I see this as a conversation not a for word accurate declaration , Floyd is saying part of the negotiation will be dropping the Lawsuits , now the weird part is you guys hate on Floyd for wanting Mannys instigated case dropped , but Manny gets a free pass for wanting to fight in court instead of fighting the guy in the ring , its a paradox to say Floyd is blocking the fight because of the court case when it can be said Manny is blocking the fight for not dropping the case , a case he should never have started in the first place .

Why lie? Schafer and GBP reached out to Arum through a mediator RIGHT after the Marquez fight. Only for Arum to say that they are pursuing a fourth Manny-Marquez fight. This is ALL after Arum talked about how if they call him (after the Marquez fight), they could get the fight done.

Indeed, that was what struck me about that whole article. Alright I could see GBP getting cut out, if Floyd got offered enough money but then it really comes down to is Floyd willing to let Arum to run the show by himself with the third party money keeping him in check.

But Haymon and Ellerbe those are Floyd's guys, if you aren't dealing or willing to deal with them then there is nothing to talk about.
