am i missing something? why the **** would ANY decent HW be afraid of rahman? exceptionally limited fighter with a decent dig even in his prime. vitali would have smashed hime everywhere. how can someone who had a fantastic toe to toe battle with lewis, one of the greats, be afraid of a journeyman like rahman? its not surprising someone his size gets injured so often to be honest, every one of his joints must take a ****in hammering every time he works out

strange post to say the least

Only an idiot (you) could say that Vitali is a coward when he took a fight with Lewis on a 10-day notice.

What cracks me up is the fact that the creator of this thread calls someone an idiot and this guy continues to butcher the English Language to no end. He might give Jab a lesson in desimating English.

              stop bashing rahman.

he may suck, but at least he was the former, true, linear, heavyweight champion of the world. who beat the true linear heavyweight champion of the world.

              can quitali say that?

no, but he can say "i win, i win, i win, i win 4 of 6 rounds before i lose"

Benjamin, your one tough guy. Your 12,000 something posts beats Vitalis total fights.

We all know fightas retire when they time is up and that time is usually obvious WHEN they get a beating from somebody. Hurrr's a list of fightas that retired due to a terrible loss.

Tito Trinidad retired when B-Hop Knocked him out.

Tito Trinidad retired once again when Winky Wright gave him a boxing lesson on LEARN DEFENSE 101.

John Ruiz decided to call it quits afta James Toney bitchslapped his belly into a glowing red

Ricardo Mayorga retired afta Tito Trinidad destroyed him.

Marquez found out he don't belong anymo when Jermain Tayler made him look silly.

Paulie Ayala hung them up when Barrera stopped his silly ass in 10 rounds havin in mind he would have faced Pac, and GTFO had he won.

Jesse james Leija retired afta Gatti bombed his silly head when they fought

Nasseem Hamed gave up boxing when Barrera humiliated him in Mexico. He decided he can only fight cheeseburgers nowadays.

Mike Tyson retires afta a loss to McBride

Point is, Vitali retired fo a chicken reason. He's afraid of Rahman. I know that gettin KTFO in sparring sessions decreased his confidence aswell. Vitali dint even get a beating to realize that he doesn't belong wit ta elites in ta heavyweight. Vitali will be rememba as ta guy that feared Hasim Rahman and showed it by gettin injuries 4 consecutive times in 1 year span. Too much ducking. Vitali retires as a coward.
So you are supposed to stick around until someone beats you up really bad and forces you to stop boxing? Thats beyond ******ed. About as ******ed as saying that Vitali was afraid of Rahman! Really, really, really ******ed.

calling vitali a "coward" is inaccurate.

he is a pro fighter, and pro fighters are not cowards.

                      overrated? yes.

                      a disgrace? yes.

inferior to his little brother? yes

                      a coward? nyet.
