ODH did 1.4 with Tito Trinidad and 2.4 with Floyd Mayweather. Floyd did over 1 mil with Victor Ortiz, JMM, and Shane Mosley.

Floyd is doing over 1 mil no matter who he fights.

The point is when ODH fought Trinidad, a very popular fighter he did his best number 1.4 mil PPV. WHen he fought floyd, floyd brought an additional 1 mil ppv buyers.

ODH gave floyd an opportunity and floyd ran with it. What made floyd a ppv star was his performance on 24/7 prior to the ODH fight. Without ODH floyd doesn't do the 24/7 thing and doesn't become a star.

Floyd can do 2.4 without ODH if he fights MAnny. Manny likely can't do more than 1.5 mil without floyd.

I agree that the money mayweather character gets more people watching, but it works (de la Hoya mayweather record in USA n mayweather hatton record in the uk) so I don't really c the problem. Also the fact he still has the 0 gets people buying because they wanna watch him lose
