How does fighting more = selling more? In this case between Floyd and manny, I don't agree with that. Why did pacquiao only do 750k with clottey? People don't have money to spend 60 70 bucks every 4-6 months for a pacquiao fight unless you're diehard Filipino. I actually even bought Floyd's ppv and haven't bought mannys in his recent fights.

To me, on the level of manny and Floyd where almost everyone knows them, Floyd fighting less, he should be able to pull in better numbers because you don't see him near as much; there's maybe more anticipation to see him fight cause we don't get a chance as much. Vice versa with manny, if he didn't fight as much as he did I would think he would pull slightly higher numbers. I wouldn't say Floyd's the proven draw when they pull around 100-200 k within eachother.

Like another poster said, Floyd next fight after de la Hoya did around a mil. He'd probably do about 2 mil fighting twice a year. Casual fans don't necessarily like the way Floyd fights because it's boring to them.

They don't pull withn 100-200k of each other. Come on dude give floyd his credit. Floyd did much more with each common opponent. Besides, since 2007 they occupy different spaces in the sport.

Floyd came of 3 mil ppv's and was universally acknowledged as the best fighter in the world, and had been since Roy lost. He paid his dues and was rewarded for it. Manny was still climbing the ladder. Manny couldn't fight as infrequently as floyd.

They don't pull within 100-200k between eachother? Yes they do. Besides clottey. And quit actin like Floyd brought in the 2.4 mil. Its de la hoyas name that brought in thy number. If you think otherwise I can't take you seriousLy. That's why he did less than half with hatton as his next fight even with hatton pretty big following. what happened there? Casual fans get turned off with how Floyd fights. Maybe another reason Floyd changed his style a bit(I said maybe, kinda makes sense now that I think about it cause the way he fought Hoya and his next fight with hatton didn't do near as well. Casuals probably dont like the way he fought).

Very good for boxing! If Floyd and Ortiz did the 1.3 and so did Pac and Marquez, this should make negotiating very easy. 50/50 split, drug testing, and no BS.

                  Floyd and Ortiz did 1.1.

It's been over 20 days. What's the hold up? It usually takes 10 days, doesn't it?

Pac without a doubt is the PPV king.
