    GBP gets a percentage. I don't remember/think it's 15%, but I'll check.

Oscar said that Manny couldn't read the contract, and manny signed with two promoters (remember the briefcase full of money in the back of the limousine?).

GBP gets paid off Manny's fights without doing anything...that steams Arum to no end.

Because Pac sign a GBP contract while still under contract with TR

But he does not get 15% of pacs earnings. I think he gets 15% of Arums share

I can handle Arum not wanting Golden Boy involved to handle the day to day boxing operations. What doesn't sit right with me is Arum supposedly not wanting Haymon or Ellerbie involved from Floyd's side.

Arum is out of his ****in mind if he thinks that Haymond or Ellerbe will not be involved in the logistics of this fight. He's already proving he doesn't want the fight making a demand like that. Who is he to bring in third-party investors and demand that Mayweather use them. My gosh is it that hard. MP, TR, AND GB. THAT'S IT! STOP RUNNING ARUM!

Any businessman wants to control the situation... I'm cool with that, too.

The problem is that Arum will then use his inability to garner total control as the reason/justification to not make the fight.

              Watch.

Seriously... how can Koncz negotiate with Floyd IN THE GYM?? And since when did Knocz negotiate on Manny's behalf? Since when?

As soon as I heard 'meeting facilitated by Roger Mayweather', I knew this was all spurious.

Roger... Roger Mayweather. Think about that.

I'm just saying if Arum comes up with a deal that gets each fighter a minimum of 50 million plus ppv on top of that then what's the problem? I won't shed a tear if ODLH doesn't get any of Floyd's money. It's not like they are cutting me out of the picture. Ellerbe and Haymon still would have to get paid by Floyd because those are his personal advisers and lawyers. But after that why should ODLH get a cut if Arum can offer more money without him? Arum is already 80 anyway it's not like he can even enjoy the perks of being wealthy at his age. Can't wench, drink, and party like a young man no more. And when you are old things like fast cars and mansions don't mean nothing. Naw I think he want's to do it to have the distinction of pulling off the biggest boxing even in history by himself. Wouldn't that be something to say at the twilight of his life?

Yes, this is what I see as well. Then he will blameshift, the media will eat it up and Manny fights Marquez next year.

You're looking at it like GBP gets paid without doing anything for FMJ. That is the short view.

Look at it as how Floyd would benefit by having Richard "The Banker" Schaefer representing his interests throughout the promotion... and I mean in EVERYTHING.

Travel, schedules, media days, choices of announcers, etc, etc. There are so many little details of the promotion that you didn't consider. When fighters complain that they aren't being treated well, it is often about those details.
