Thats where Im at, that was a tragedy, but one that was intentionally inflicted on Collins. Its not like it was an accident.

Either the charges are not as bad as the media would have us believe, or a lot of people are willing to overlook serious charges to make money.

We now have two separate commissions allowing Margo to fight. Granted, boxing is a corrupt sport, but Arum can't possibly be able buy off that many people. Can he?
Resto got caught red-handed. AFTER the event.

Margarito got caught red-handed, BEFORE the event.

So, Margarito was not convicted for using loaded gloves, he was convicted for attempting to use loaded gloves.

      Like robbery vs attempted robbery.

The thing is, has Margarito used them before, and did he use them against Cotto?

If he did, and most observers seem to think that is the case, then he is as bad as Resto no question.

The degree of severity as far as the wraps themselves are concerned, is irrelevant..... cheating is cheating.

Right, but one can be criminally prosecuted for an attempted crime. Robbery and attempted robbery are both felonies. So even though Margs didn't use the inserts against Mosley, couldn't he be charged with attempted criminal battery (assault)? And again, if blocks fell out of Margarito's wraps, why did team Mosley allow the fight to continue? Why didn't they press charges right then and there?

Good point, I dunno man. ****m said that as soon as he saw the blocks fall out, he thought that the fight was over and that Margarito was going to jail..... but I dunno where the law stands on issues like that.

And I suspect that they did not cancel the fight because 1.) Shane is a fighter, and he was ready to go 2.) he didnt want to waste the last 3 months training, and lose that payday.
