the kirkland we saw against angulo would match up very well against canelo.
but canelo doesn't fight like angulo. If the japanese dude put kirkland on the mat while keeping his patience, canelo has the same opportunity even with anne wolfe by kirkland's side.
We may also see canelo get rocked a few times maybe even knocked down but like I said before. Canelo isn't Angulo. He will use the ring and his sharp precision to his advantage .

I've been very critical of Alvarez, but I think Kirklands chin will fail him. I'm willing to bet GBP refuses to make this fight and Suliaman and the other crooks at the WBC don't force it, Alvarez is mexican ya know

I agree Canelo isn't angulo but if we use Ishida against Kirkland then we must use Jose Cotto against Canelo, who badly hurt Canelo and of course Cotto is a small guy. If Cotto's pressure was able to give Canelo problems and of course badly hurt him, I reckon Kirklands pressure and power would be a big problem for Canelo as well.

Canelo would have to fight very very smart. There wouldn't be much room for error on his part, imo, because if he slips up just once and Kirkland lands a bomb, best believe he's going in for the kill, unlike Cotto who let him off the hook.

Canelo is too lax early on. Don't see him winning this - not now, anyway.

Would be a great fight all I'm saying is don't be quick to write off Kirkland just because of the Ishida fight.

Yeah pretty tough to call, I favor Kirkland though he could shock Canelo with his relentless pressure.......or walk into a shot and get ko'd.
