What happens when Alvarez fights someone his own size who is good?

They need to take that bull**** belt away from Alvarez if he doesn't start defending it against good non-shot fighters who are not midgets but fight at 154 like Kirkland. This age excuse is getting old, drop your belt if you're too much of a child to defend it against good fighters.

Lets see if Golden Boy has the balls to make this match-up. I know Alvarez has the balls, but his promoters are quetionable, I wish Alvarez stood up and told his promoters to make the big fights like this instead of being a puppet. I'd like the kid to earn his respect and dues if he really is the real deal.

Exactly how i feel. 50/50 fight. Canelo wins in 1st 2-3 rounds, if not then Kirkland takes him out.

An active Kirkland would test Canelo on a couple levels- conditioning, chin mainly., IMO. Its hard to say who gets it.

Honestly, the only person beating Kirkland at 154 right now is Martinez or maybe Dzudruik (however you spell it).
