De La Hoya ain't ******, that fight(against Floyd) is not happening anytime soon..Floyd will MURDER this kid!! Cintrón look lost & out of it since the 1st round(even Roy Jones was talking about it) & Even thou Cintrón was saved by the bell at the end of the 4th & Canelo was dominating, I thought the fight was stopped sort of prematurely cause Canelo caught Cintrón with a good right to the head, but the punch that made Cintrón bend over was actually a LOW BLOW..At the end(round 5) Cintrón was gassed, but amazingly so was Canelo & in the post fight interview Canelo looked & sounded like he had just ran a marathon when he actually only fought for 5 rounds!! Who knows how he would have looked if the fight had kept on or if he had fought 1 of the top guys of the division..& throw in the fact that Canelo hasn't really been tested yet against top of the line fighters & that's why I don't see that fight against Floyd happening yet(or ever)..

Could be possible since i'm hearing cotto is a free agent and he could then sign with golden boy
Canelo is cherrypicking a 35 year old, past prime, former super featherweight who's the smaller fighter and close to retirement. Just like he cherrypicked the loser of Cintron-Molina, Alfonso Gomez, and the weaker brother of the two Cotto family, and the weaker of the two Hatton's.

Why not call out Martinez, the champion of 154-160? Or Lara who said "GBP would never put Canelo in the ring with me", or even Paul Williams, Kirkland?

He really is, HBO sickens me. There's no excuse on them not having Trout on the board. And, really he would dominate Alvarez right now. It would be a damn near shutout.

It's funny because Canelo wanted to avenge his brother defeat on the hands of Trout. I guess Oscar and GBP told got in his ear and made him change his mind.

He's cherrypicking an old man close to retirement. He was going good with Ryan Rhodes, then just messed everything up with Gomez, Cintron, now calling out Mayweather instead of fighting No Doubt Trout. That knock out against Frank LaPorto must've had Oscar De La Hoya shaking in his high heels. Lara, Trout, and Williams all kick Canelo's ass right now.

I hope Mayweather cares about his legacy and doesn't fight this hype job. at least Ortiz had a FOY type fight with Berto. Canelo KOs a shot B level guy and earns it?

if Money May takes the fight i aint buying that **** for nothing. just boycott it. even Maidana is more deserving then Canelo WTF??!

This and Chavez Jr's one win over Sebastian Zbik is more impressive to me then anything Alvarez has done, hell we can even throw John Duddy's name in there aswell. Hbo keeps hyping the **** out of Alvarez, its funny because Chavez Jr. would man handle this kid. People think Chavez Jr. is a cherry picker yet I feel Chavez Jr. has fought the better opposition.
