He should show some respect and not get in the way of the real fight May 5th, he should fight Chavez jr on the undercard. That would make more sense.

Wow, they're feeding this kid to the wolves. Sure Saul's a lot bigger than Floyd, but Floyd's got 15 years of experience on Saul!!! Can anybody say Fernando Vargas?!!!

At What weight? If Canelo can make 147, then Floyd should fight him, but not at 154. Here's an idea. Why doesn't Canelo call out Sergio Martinez? Now that would be a good fight for him.

dawg you got my jaw straight up sore right now no joke! i want you to think long and hard what you're saying. canelo is a good b level fighter as of right now. if floyd fought him, he could easily shoot the **** with the commentators while "fighting" canelo. switch sports my friend...

Boxingscene instigates ****. He didn't say it like that. " I want you on May 5th!" wtf?

            Boxingscene needs a better translator.

i've heard this script before. call out someone and that someone comes out and pretends he is interested and obliges. the same script gbp and floyd hatched in the marquez fight. floyd definitely learned a lot from his brief stint playing out his role in the wwe.

Canelo did very well! excellent timing, good combinations with powerful punches.
Martinez,Canelo and Pac calling out Floyd. I wanna see Saul!!!!not the quickest of the three but definitely the one who's willing to engage.

i knew it! i had a feeling if pacquiao doesn't want it on may 5th, which is likely, it can either be alvarez or khan (the two biggest names at GBP). idk bout you guys but alvarez' performance didn't impress me much. when he had cintron hurt, he looked tired as heck and didn't put him on his ass. it's a good win but i did not like his look tonight, it looked like he had stamina issues or something. i would hate to see him in there with mayweather. i would favor floyd to KO him late tbh.

                    He should do it.

If Floyd uses that stand and **** style, he's getting ****ed in every hole. Canelo's punches are too hard and he uses variety so you can't simply predict where it's coming from.

At the same time Canelo could be revealed and humiliated with Floyd putting on a boxing clinic and bashing his head around like he did to Mosley.

If there is nothing available. Then I don't see why this fight can't happen.

Mayweather already has an HBO return date scheduled for May 5, Cinco De Mayo weekend and the Mexican holiday would bloom dollar bills if Canelo was facing Mayweather on the date. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas is set aside for Mayweather's next fight.

Come on man, be careful you dont get what you wish for.

Mayweather should take it, Canelo will never be easier to beat than when he is still young and still largely untested. That silly belt that he is wearing could make the fight seem more credible, but it would still be a horrible sellout.

                      Everyone likes mentioning Mayweather.
