Regarding K-9, he's been KO'd by Joel Julio and the other south paw guy early in his career. Now that I think about it, he didn't even win the contender. He beat an over the hill fighter in Spinks.

Basically, those 3 guys (Wolak, Rod, and K-9) are completely out of the question if you ask me.

I'm not to familiar with Vanes. All I know is he won a controversial decision over Ouma.

He ran from the Angulo fight.

He's got decent pop and okay boxing skills.

    Questionable chin.

    Huge ego.

How about chicken Vanes or the winner of Rod-Wolak?

I would prefer Kirkland to win a title vs K9 then fight Canelo.

i like lara too and honestly i think lara beats him UD. alvarez certainly isn't a finished product, i think a couple more tough tests and he'll be able to beat lara, but deff not right now.
just a shlty camp,He has had baby mama problems,Had to put achie in
his place. He had to deal with the media bashing him. This is all learning

I agree with you Phantom Alvarez vs Lara is a dead even fight imo. I would definitely love to see this fight.

I'd favor Canelo after his performance tonight. He looks like he's on his way to being elite, he's still gotta watch out for people outworking him but I don't think Lara would be the fighter to do that.

I don't think he had stamina issues.

When you try and finish someone you can use a lot of energy.

While he may have been momentarily tired.

I'm betting he would have been fine if the fight had continued.

There's so many variables here with this division, that's why I love it.

Throw Vanes in with the margarito-Cotto winner.

There's so much smoke at 154 that needs to settle. All roads lead to Martinez at 154. Once everything's figured out there, the winner can fight Mayweather.

What's the skinny guy's name that fights at 154? He's always on ESPN?

Demetrius Andrade? Hes still pretty green. He needs to step up the competition before he fights any of the top guys. He has a great jab though.

As for this fight, I'd favor Canelo to outwork him in a close fight. I need to see a little more from Lara against top guys. He doesn't seem to like pressure very much.

                    Yep Andrade that's him.

I was going to say throw Andrade in with Omar Henry at 154 on FNF.....

But, Yeah, I need to see more of Lara to really make an assessment. From what I saw with Williams, I really can't give Lara a lot of credit with that fight. He won it hands down, but that's normally what happens when fighters are coming off a KO loss.

Besides, I wasn't really impressed with Lara's power because he hit Paul with a ton of clean shots. Any fighter with power would've gotten their opponent out of there.

That fight won't happen, they won't risk a 21 year old Alvarez against the proven LARA.

For what? think realistic, would you if you was his promoter?
