      Sorry Phantom.

Canelo needs to be in the ring with a punisher that's going to stand in front of him and go tit for tat. It's a test for him and it's perfect for the fans.

      That punisher is James Kirkland.

        How about Carlos Molina?

Make a statement with him and fight Lara next.

I'm not really impressed with Molina. He's kind of like Carlos Baldomir in '06. He has a few losses; He's an underdog that's won a few fights he wasn't suppose too and people start to believe in him. That's fine, but I don't think people should seriously put him on the big stage.

Lara on the other hand is better. I just don't feel Lara possesses enough power to really test Canelo.

              I see what your saying.

How about chicken Vanes or the winner of Rod-Wolak?

I would prefer Kirkland to win a title vs K9 then fight Canelo.

Here's how I see Rod-Wolak. Rodriguez lost a few fights over the last few years. He lost to the African guy and he's even lost a few times on ESPN. I definitely wouldn't put Rod anywhere in serious conversations. The fact that Wolak struggled with him, kind of eliminates him as well.

Regarding K-9, he's been KO'd by Joel Julio and the other south paw guy early in his career. Now that I think about it, he didn't even win the contender. He beat an over the hill fighter in Spinks.

Basically, those 3 guys (Wolak, Rod, and K-9) are completely out of the question if you ask me.

I'm not to familiar with Vanes. All I know is he won a controversial decision over Ouma.

did anyone else feel like alvarez had some stamina issues? he looked slow as heck trying to finish off cintron, and didn't even get cintron off his feet. idk, i'm a big fan of alvarez, but i didn't like the way he looked tonight.
i like lara too and honestly i think lara beats him UD. alvarez certainly isn't a finished product, i think a couple more tough tests and he'll be able to beat lara, but deff not right now.
