He deserved to be stripped actually more than Vitali b/c he had gone even longer than Vitali without fighting. Tszyu has a major history of postponing fights for bs injuries. He pulled out twice against Judah and multiple other times with Mitchell like you pointed out.
Rahman was also fighting a friend, Barret, when he was supposed to be fighting for the title. Him and Monte obviously went softer on each other. Which that's no excuse, they're professionals and shouldn't have held back, but at least they didn't pull out of any fights.
Rahman fought a tougher opponent in Monte Barrett than Klitschko has since Lennox Lewis. The only reason anybody said anything about Sanders was b/c he upset Wlad, same with Danny Williams for upsetting Tyson. And I'm sure you saw the kind of shape Kirk Johnson came in. A guy that usually fights at 235-240 comes in weighing 270. Just like Danny Williams coming in at upwards of 280. Which that's not Vitali's fault, but pulling out of this fight with Rahman 4 times is completely his fault.
And there is no arguing the fact that Vitali, according to the WBC's very own rules, should be stripped. Damn right Vitali should be losing money, he isn't fighting anybody. That's his fault Pump. He's not losing as much money doing this as he will be once he gets knocked out by someone. He's stalling for the inevitable.
It is a bit too coincidental that this idiot gets "injured" yet again on the week before the fight.
I'm glad as hell it has happened now. Because this hurts Bob Arum's punk ass for trying to be a sneaky **** and it totally screwed up his promotion of the fight. They've still been running ads of the fight, which is money down the drain for Arum. Its hilarious.
