just jumping in to add one thing here, not to get into a discussion, but someone said he fought a couple of fringe contenders.

      here are the real facts:

vk/ll - stepped in on 2 weeks notice to fight a much higher caliber opponent.

vk/johnson - a wbc scheduled fight for the wbc mandatory #1 spot.

vk/sanders - a wbc scheduled fight for lewis's vacated title.

vk/williams - a top ten voluntary opponent as a first title defense.

point is, he fought all that was put in front of him. fringe contenders or not, 2 of his last 3 fights were mandated. so poor opposition has to be blamed on the wbc if anything.

and i personally don't mind if he gets stripped, as long as he gets healthy and doesn't rush it like he's done in the last few months.

there can be no arguement on the facts. that's all. carry on.

He's been inactive, injury prone, and fighting poor opposition.

Let him do that all he wants.

          Without the WBC title.

People are fed up with it, and rightfully so.

Bravo I was going to point out the same thing but you did instead. Johnson was for the eliminator, Sanders was put in place by the WBC and Willaims was his voluntary. People's dislike for the Klitschko's make them blind to the facts. Yes he has milked it with Rahman but do not discredit what he did prior to these last couple of incidents.

If he had proved himself before or after those fights, that might be one thing, but he hasn't.

His biggest career wins are over Larry Donald and Kirk Johnson.

The bottom line is that since beating a 260lb Kirk Johnson, he fought two meidocre fringe contenders in the following two years.

Now, it looks like he may not fight again will into 2006 having postponed this fight with Rahman (another meidocre mandatory) FOUR times throughout 2005.

He's over hyped by his fans vs what he's actually accomplished, and his inactivity is hurting the division.

Again, take his title away, and let him do whatever he wants.

But moving forward with someone who will be active and intends to unify is the best move for the division.

The man fought a war with Lennox, but yeah he's a little ***** when it comes to Rahman? All these haters are nothing but a bunch of keyboard cowboys trying to boost their always-small ego by trashing someone who would completely murder them in reality.
yeah give the white boy a break huh. If it were almost anybody else, he would've had that title taken from him faster than you can say Bob Arum.

Give him a break after pulling out 4 ****ing times huh? For bull**** fake injuries. Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me thrice? Then again? Vitali has no balls, except his brother's dangling under his jaws. This bum should step aside until he decides he actually wants to fight. He's scared ****less that he's going to lose that title. Cause he knows when he loses it, that's it for him.

If he weren't a *****, he'd step up and give up the title himself instead of forcing others to give it up. If he were really hurt that badly, he'd step up and say "okay, I'm too injured to fight, so I must relinquish my title." But, Vitali ****head doesn't give a **** about boxing. He just cares about his gay pride, of which he has plenty.

What a *****. Can't wait to see him get knocked out. And I really don't care who does it. Of course, we'll never get to see it because it looks like Vitali is finished with boxing. I'm finished with him. Hell, I was when I first saw him.

no offense man I understand what you saying and dont think it's right but think about it man it's the 4th time.....how long can a champion go without a fight? He should have his title stripped or atleast fight in the Tourney if it ever takes place.

actually, it's not the fourth time as some people might have you believe.

i've read some of what don king's crying is about, and it is not completely factual. ****, we're talking don king here, a guy who has already been exposed for fixing professional fight tournaments.

1 - he mentioned big k's "minor" back surgery. no such thing as "minor" back surgery. beleive me on this, you can ask 2 members of my family about what even supposed minor back surgery can do to you.

2 - vitali was ready for a september showdown, but dk has made people believe, somehow, that he claimed to be ready after the barret/rahman fight was signed. this was dk's way of making vitali even more inactive by not allowing vk to fight against a top ranked competitor to remain busy while rhaman vs barret was scheduled to take place. they both could've fought whithin weeks of eachother's fights, but don king interveined with this. thus, making it seem that vitali was unwilling to defend his crown.

3 - the first postponement was due to dkp and k2 proposition disagreements. not injuries.

                      sorry, but facts are facts.
