I'm sorry? What's the name of this sport again?
I could have swore it was boxing...

Guerrero is campaigning like he is running for president. Beat somebody at WW and become a top 5 WW then you can fight Floyd. Beating you know wouldn't do anything for Floyd.

He needs to fight some of the guys at 140 or fight Maidana like he was supposed to but what ever he does he needs to get some wins under his belt first he hasn't done anything but beat a past his prime Casamayor.

He hasn't done anything at 140 or 147 to warrant a fight with Mayweather. Beat Maidana and it might be a plausible fight. He's a good fighter but he would get taxed from Vegas to Oakland.

besides having the same promoter, Guerrero doesn't really have much of an argument for why he should be the one to fight Mayweather .. especially considering The Ghost is very unproven above LW

and plus payday aside, is Mayweather the man Guerrero really wants to face after such a long layoff? I can just hear Guerrero now post fight ""I would have beaten Mayweather if I wasn't so rusty"

**throw in Robert having to jump up to Welter just to get to Floyd and I don't think it bodes too well for him

IMO the only way Guerrero-Mayweather is a credible sell is as a tune up fight in February.

Floyd would not even entertain this fight, as there is absolutely no value to it. Guerrero is still not a well-known fighter, so he can just forget it.
