reid was dropped 4 times in that fight, the only 4 KDs of his career in the only stoppage loss of his career. having said that, dont try to make it sound like it was a biased fight.

i dont think cal***gy should worry about being robbed. he should worry about where hes gonna land when lacy KTFOs him.

To be fair those knockdowns weren't all legit though. It was a biased fight and if you cant see that then i'd recommend a trip to the opticians.


I'm not saying that Lacy didn't deserve a big win in that fight though (Lacy is a very good fighter after all). But the referee spoiled the whole event by attaching himself to Lacy's balls.

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as Lacy vs Reid which was almost Sven Ottke like (though Lacy actually has the skill and power).

Reid was getting brutalized by lacy no matter what happened.

Sheika's shown over and over he can be in give and take fights like that and he was stopped after a combo in the middle of throwing back.

That stoppage alone was worse than anything in the Lacy Ried fight.

i have not seen the whole fight, but i have seen the knockdowns and i will tell you when a fighter gets hit so hard he has to fall to his knees, its kinda hard to dispute that as a slip.

legit or not, reid was DOWN 4 times and having a fighter who has never before stopped or KDd get KDd 4 times in one fight, even the dumbest ref will say "gee, if this tough guys is downed 4 times, maybe i should do something about that".

All you're doing is trying to excuse Joe from comming to the US when Calzaghe himself has benifited from MANY home town instances of poor officiating.

And again, the stoppage in the Sheika fight was a JOKE compaired to anything in the Reid Lacy fight.
