because marquez was ranked the number 2 p4p at the time.. and it made good business since being that marquez was mexico's number 1 fighter at the time.. but after the marquez fight he tried to fight the so called number 1 p4p pacroid.. but we know what happened with that situation.. so he fought the number 3 ranked p4p shane mosley.. also at the time mosley was rated the number 1 147 lb fighter in the world..

the reason martinez wants to fight pac and floyd is because they are number 1 and 2 pound for pound he wants to prove that he is the number one pound for pound fighter in the world just like any other pro boxer would love to get a shot at doing so and if it comes with a handsome paycheck then all the better

no that's not the reason because there were plenty of fighters who were good during his entire career that he never fought.. the reason he wants to fight these guys number 1 is for the paycheck.. number 2 he is bigger than them and could poissibly have a chance to win against them because i don't see him beating any other good guys in boxing that are at a higher weight class. he wants to be the cash cow.. i heard he turned down 6 million a few months ago.. smh clown ducked to keep calling out mayweather and pacroid smh
