You mean if Calderon just for instance the P4P Champion, he would chased Calderon for a fight just to prove he could defeat and replace him as the P4P champion??? Rediculous! PBF was the P4P champ, but it does not need for Pac to fight and defeat PBF as PBF ducked him, to become P4P champ! Martinez should have fight the best while climbing-up on the ladder, and beat the best in his current weight div, and to sum-up by putting icing on his career, fight and beat good fighters in SMW, and he will be noticed for P4P #1 consideration! You can make your own way to P4P#1 Sergio, even by not considering fighting the little warriors for a short-cut to P4P top!

FYI the weight limit for the Pacquiao-Margarito fight was 150. Sergio stated he could make that weight even though it would be very hard. But he did state he could do it.

Margarito rehydrated to 165 on fight night.

So personally I don´t see how Arum can make an argument of the weight issue when there´s obviously been a similar scenario before. Seems that for quite some time, from the Cotto (maybe also De La Hoya ) to the Margarito fight, they´ve been making a fuss about Manny walking through bigger guys, and when Martinez says he could possibly make the 150 limit all of a sudden that´s supposed to be a "weight advantage"? C'mon...

      Bring on Pacquiao-Mayweather tho HAHAAAAA

If smaller WW Pac challenged bigger MW Martinez, then it wont be by martinez fault if Martinez accepted his challenge! The thing is, smaller LW JMM was the one challenging bigger WW Pac and Pac just gave-in to his challenge! But the scenario now is, bigger MW martinez is the one challenging the smaller WW warrior! got my point?

you're an idiot! Pac as WW fought marg in LMW, and i care less who won. The point is, pac was hurt! Now, Sergio saw this weight difference, Pac at 144lbs on scaling and just 146lbs on fight night, against Sergio at 150lbs on scaling, but becomes a 168lbs on fight night! See the difference? Scaling is basically a WW vs JMW fight, but in fight night, it would be a WW vs SMW!!! This how Sergio views their fight!

Pac admitted his adventurous to JMW is wrong. Though he won, he was badly hurt because he was far lighter than margarito that time, after he could not muster the WW limit even during the JMW fight night, while margarito rose to a giant! But Sergio who is ducking his equal size, or a bit bigger than him, don't want to see this weight discrepancy as Pac in disadvantage position but he want to capitalize this as his advantage! what a coward!

to leonthegay. you are a ****ing idiot. martinez has always fought from 147 to 160. not 168. he is no super middle. you forget he had the 154 and the 160 titles at the same time. dumbass. so of course he is gonna go for fights at 154 to 160. he still makes the weight. why are you getting sick of a good figher who is trying to make big fights for the fans? you dont make sense. no go suck PBF's **** you *****.

Yup, for Arum it is real simple:

Martinez= Super High Risk, low pay
Rubio= High Risk, very low pay
Canelo= High Risk, High pay and Jr. is the bigger man.

No brainer, regardless on how you slice it, Jr. looks to be done. Arum might as well try and get paid before Jr. gets his first L. I think Oscar is not ****** enough to go up to 160, considering Jr. walks in the ring at 180 and Canelo at around 165. Jr. crying that 156, 157 or even 158 is unfair is a crock of BS and he is really the frightened one.
