According to sources with knowledge of the situation, representatives from Top Rank will be in Denver today to discuss the details of possibly moving the highly anticipated Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito rematch from New York City. The fight is currently scheduled to take place in Madison Square Garden, which is nearly sold out. Denver's Pepsi Center is being viewed as a frontrunner venue to host the fight. lol if they deny margarito that licence, it's gonna be the last top prank fight ever planned in ny/msg, you can count on it. arum already didn't like msg as a venue because of high running costs. really they chose it because of rican fans. if they move it somewhere else the whole concept is going to be ruined. i think it's going to push through though.

If it's moved to Denver it's gonna suck for Scumbag Arum cause he's gonna loose a lot of $$$$$$$$.. & if that happens, his GREEDY ass deserves it cause all this could have been avoided if Arum had done things right from the get go!!! & it's really gonna suck for Cotto cause the altitude(over 5,000ft above sea level) is gonna affect him in a negative way..Cotto has been training at sea level & in a high action & intense fight & then add the high altitude(which he hasn't adapted to) as fight goes on, if in the 1st fight he claims the problem was that he ran out of gas, then in this one he's really gonna be in a world of s h i t!!Ironically the ONLY one that could benefit from all this is Margarito cause he's already training at high altitude in Mexico, so he's already adapted to this atmosphere..So if he's denied a license in N.Y, it would actually work to his favor..I don't understand why Arum hasn't tried to move the fight to a place where neither fighter will have an advantage like Florida(Miami or Orlando) or to some other city in Texas like Houston or San Antonio..

Well it won't affect PPV, nobody is buying the fight just because it's in NY

Onlything affected will be tickets and gate
