probably........... too bad he beat him
        when he was 36
2 weight classes above his fighting weight
4 weight classes above the weight he was at his best.
        and didn't even make weight

I do think he would probably beat him at any stage of his career though

And Marquez looked like he wasn't in a fight after the floyd fight yet he looked like he elephant man after getting owned by Pac.
Pacquiao could get knocked out with a check hook from Floyd and hit the turnbuckle and you'd just say, "What the ****?! What the hell was that?! That wasn't a KO! That was just Pacquiao getting his feet tangled up with Floyd and tripping into the corner."

I personally don't rate Floyd's win over Marquez but I find it funny that people try to justify Pacquiao struggling against him whilst ****ting on Floyd and still trying to argue that Pacquiao is up there with the Leonards and Hearns of boxing.
Thats how I feel. The only fighter between the 3 that deserves any credit for their welterweight fights is Marquez, that's how I feel. Takes some major balls to jump 2 weight classes to fight the #1 & 2 fighters in all of boxing. Considering the #1 & 2 won't jump only 1 to fight the #3 even though both were champs in that particular weight class.

No disrespect to JMM but any current lightweight would jump 2 weight classes to fight Floyd and Pac for $$$$$$$.

floyds great, and so is jmm for taking a fight two weight classes above him, and also allowing floyd to come in overweight.

now if floyd goes up to jr middleweight to challenge sergio martinez, that would cement him further.

the fight took marquez a bit out of his comfort zone since he had to be more of the aggressor rather than the counter-puncher which he is used to. also, add to the fact that floyd had all the physical advantages as well such as the size (not making the 144 catchweight) and reach. the fight was just a bad match-up for marquez.

Larry will do anything to talk this piece of **** fight up, but the reality is, it was a joke and does nothing for Mayweather's resume. If Floyd wants credit, fight Marquez at 142 like Pac did.
