We need to wait till he retires or goes to another company. I don't think the fight was fixed, although that was not the Clottey I was use to seeing, and I don't know how it had so much to do with Manny.
I dont think it was fixed either but he did quit. He just didnt throw in the towel.

And how'd that workout for him? That strategy from over a year ago is still having HUGE repercussions for all of Boxing, NY state, and his long term health.

Because you can beat Pac and still lose because uncle Bob has payed the judges off.

Safer to take Uncle Bob's money and do as your told.

It still damages a career badly considering clottey paraded himself as an avoided fighter.

So, you're saying Clottey is no real warrior and throws his fights?

You will defend Pacquiao to the death won't you? You pathetic sheep.

Face it: Clottey threw that fight.

I said it since day one.

And it's looking more and more like that was the case as time goes on.

How can Marquez give Pacman such a hard time, yet Margarito, Clottey, and Mosley don't even show up?

Get Pac's nuts out of your mouth you pathetic loser.

I think Top Rank and Golden Boy are FIXING FIGHTS!

When a fighter is only fighting guys under the same Promotion, that is suspect to me

I believe things are being fixed for Chavez Jr and Alvarez because both promotions desperately want them to become SUPERSTARS, regardless if they have the skills to become Superstars

In Fact I think someone like Austin Trout who don't have the same PROMOTIONAL BACK would beat Chavez and Alvarez RIGHT NOW...but Top Rank and GBP knows that, so IMO I think they are picking and choosing and FIXING FIGHTS just because they want to try and build them up...but eventually both are going to have to take some REAL FIGHTS and that is when they will get EXPOSED

I respect prospects who work their way up and EARN CONTRACTS WITH TOP PROMOTIONS...like Tim Bradley did, he was considered the best at 140 and was on the P4P list BEFORE SIGNING WITH TOP RANK...but all of these guys who Top Rank and GBP are trying to force feed fans into believing are "THE NEXT BIG THING" none of them impress me

but fighters like Kell Brook and Austin Trout, I think those will be fighters years from now that will ruin a lot of these OVER HYPED PROSPECTS PLANS...IF THEY GET A SHOT!

That's what I've been trying to figure out

Did Marquez not get the 'fixed fight' memo? Did he have a no fixed fight clause in his contract? Instead of paying off the fighter as usual, did Uncle Bob instead pay off the judges this time?

All mysteries I will have to meditate on...
