heres a typical pac hand wrapping.
pac CLEARLY over applied tape & gauze in that vid (which is called stacking) pacs ridge knuckle tape (which is what the strings were) were along his knuckle & some were even on top of his knuckle (NONE of it was properly examined) his actual knuckle is beneath the stacks of gauze & tape. if you have anything CLOSE to being on top of your knuckle it's illegal because then when your wraps press against the glove the ridges will create a sting.........picture a hard sharp cast pressing against a glove while throwing a punch. tremendous amount of sting.
but heres what you claim...........
"The strings of tape were in between the knuckles when he makes a fist and that's the rule. No tape on the knuckle when the boxer makes a clenched fist."
go back and read the entire rules you moron. it says tape shall not cover any part of the knuckles when the hand is clenched to make a fist....(shall not cover ANY part of the knuckles) manny had multiple stacks of tape covering his knuckles. he even applied tape directly over his skin & knuckles. the first thing that manny applied was tape over his hand & knuckles.
yes......THIS IS THE ENTIRE ARGUMENT? do you get what the vid is SAYING?
i mean is this a joke
dude. go educate yourself a bit more on this subject because you're gonna end up embarrassing yourself.

That's a photo op handwrap, he doesn't even train with that kind of hand wrap, I know, I have taken video of him wrapping his hands before a workout.
Your allowed to put tape first then gauze then finally secure it with tape again. Stacking is when you continually alternately stack tape then gauze, tape then gauze, tape then gauze, tape then gauze, etc.. That's why it's called stacking. The gauze portion, which is about 12 yards is usually folded over and over until it sits as a thick pad on the knuckles. Stacking is when tape is alternately put in place within those folds, like a stack, which would have a firmer feel because of the tape. Having tape on the skin before putting a 12 yard folded piece of gauze does not add firmness to the folded gauze. Stacking tape within the folded gauze does, that's why it's illegal.
Regarding the strings of tape, it's illegal to have tape so thick like a rope that they actually protrude higher than the knuckles, that's why they make the fighter clench his fist to check that the twisted tape is not higher than the knuckles. If it's higher it's called a rope because it's too thick. Tape that protrudes can be harmful and thus it's illegal.
Have I explained it clear enough?Last edited by lacson; 11-21-2011, 09:19 AM.

Funny how those who don't like Pacquiao comes out a lot of false allegations. Before this new allegation every hater was on a battle cry that Pac is on steroid. Now that Pac hasn't knocked out Marquez they came up with another false allegation.
You should try your "skills" and be an FBI.

Then when he takes the gloves off from that fight notice that his wraps have no ridges and no rope between the fingers
