It does sound like an excuse. im still amazed at the hate cotto gets and for all the so called proud mexican fans margarito is a disgrace to your race. he should be glad he can even box for what he did. lets see if his eye falls out. Mexico having so many great champions. but they had valor and dignity.

This is pretty pathetic, as are most in here speaking.

Prime vs. Prime Marg made Cotto quit. That's a fact and Marg deserves major props for it.

But Cotto also fought like an idiot and was in the fight in to the 11th round.....a few tactical adjustments and who's to say that a Prime Cotto can't beat a Prime Marg.

Unfortunately this place is just filled with fanatics and haters of either a fighter or a fan base and it's just really getting tiresome.

Agreed, an objective comparison is nearly impossible.

As stated above, with a few adjustments a Prime vs Prime, Cotto should come on top.
