A lot of fights involve gangs and most fights i have seen are over quickly and have little wrestling take downs etc there almost always stand up with maybe some pushing to the ground mostly with guys who dont know what there doing swinging punches and often drunk or on drugs. The last thing i would want to do is wrestle or try and submit some guy on the floor with his gang around your gonna get you face and body kicked in while your on the floor. The sensible thing imo is to duck avoid a guys punches counter him if you want to but get out of there you dont know what the hell is gonna happen to you and there is no ref to help you out.

Remember when Vargas and Judah got choked in the streets by grapplers like 2 dollar crackwhores?
Just like Tito Ortiz KO'ed in an alley by a street boxer. We can go on forever. Most all of these situations people were drunk and anything can happen.

now that MMA is more popular because it is that much closer to real life combat than boxing.

When you have defensive people who shoulder roll and get on their backfoot pedalling......... that **** just will NOT WORK in real life.

First of all, you got clothes on. Unless you're fighting on daytona beach. I got into it last night in Memphis Tennesee(visiting a hospital client). This dude was dipping and diving right off the bat like sweatpea. I throw one punch he dips back and I run up grab his shirt before he can swerve again. Dude looked mind****ed, he got held in place for me to unload a plethora of knuckle sandwiches.

Within 15 seconds, sweatpea wannabe is twitching on the ground cerebral palsy style.

LOL @ defensive boxing on the street. that is all.

Assimilation is akin to absorption. I think the word you were looking for was 'resemblance'. If you are gong to attempt the use of 50 cent words, look em' up first, slick.

LOL @ tard trying to sound worldly insulting boxing on a boxing website.

Now go drink your milk and take a nap.

                  I did. I don't think you did.

To cause to resemble is not the same as to resemble.

And I don't care what the source is, to compare/liken is not the same as to absorb.

I think you cut and pasted that **** together is what I think.

That or you looked for a source sufficiently ******ed to back you up.

Now why would you do that?

I used ASSIMILATION. why don't you dictionary.com what that means. The act of assimilating. Now tie it together with the verb defined.

it's okay to be ****** but it's not okay to be stubbornly ******. looking in the face of a fact and denying it is the lowest level of mental ******ation. seek help.
