Who has more authority.... Arum or Manny? It's Manny hiding behind Arum. He could tell Arum to make the fight and it would be made. Instead he fights guys other than Floyd and says "my promoter chose him".

Really, if promoters like Bob Arum weren't around, and if Manny Pacquiao had a ****in mind of his own, we would have seen the Mayweather fight sooo long ago.

Pacquiao, take the test, hop in the ring, and lose. We're all waiting to see it

Remember, Pacquiao has never looked good against Marquez, but he showed great heart, skill and determination to beat Marquez for the third time.

That's all his fans can ask for.
I wish I were kidding bro, but if we're hearing anything from Mexicans it's the same thing we've been hearing from the rest of the boxing community that believe Juan Manuel Marquez won. I'm not even one of those people that say Marquez clearly won, but in my mind to give that fight to Manny was not only a slap in the face to Manuel but it was also a slap to the face of boxing in general. If a fighter needs a gift decision to keep a so called "super fight" with Floyd Mayweather alive, should that fight even be happening at all?

Also with a screen name like you have and a sig that obviously show your infatuation with Manny Pacquiao aren't you really proving my point? The more intractable Pacquiao's fans become about what happened to him last Saturday night the more they resemble the "Lotus Eaters" to me.

I have absolutely no problems with saying that fight was a draw, but the judge that had Manny winning 116-112 should never ref again and anyone who scored it that way simply does not understand how to score a boxing match, period.

I agree with TS that the majority of the hate directed toward Manny should be for not making the Mayweather fight rather than because of the outcome of the Marquez fight.

jmm/pac brought the exaggerations out of everybody. LOL. marquez did EXACTLY what mexican fans & floyd fans been waiting for.... "expose" pac by staying competitive. it was a DRAW at best... personal preference sways it either way... but most people emotionally want to give it to jmm because he "deserved" it and because pac didnt dominate.... for fücks sake, jmm was a massive underdog. for every round jmm landed a clean shot, people automatically scored the round for him... every competitive round was a knock against pac... the venue was throbbing with mexican pride. people need to rewatch the fight on mute. it was a lot closer than most want to admit.

IMO, pac had too much respect for jmm... he was too reluctant. he shouldve NEVER let jmm initiate exchanges. pac was too scared of the counter right.

also, i think jmm fought too safe and backpedaled too much... i dont blame him... knockdowns were the deciding factor in the previous bouts, im sure he didnt want to risk any knockdowns... but that hesitance killed any possible exciting exchanges. jmm was quick to shut down pac's aggression though.

ariza is right... juan claimed he wasnt going to let it be up to the judges... but when it came to fight night, he was too cautious. with pac's "leg cramps" and inability to avoid the right hand, why DIDNT juan go in for the kill????

Floyd dumped his ass, and went on to make 10x the money he would have made with Arum, and it BURNS Arum's ass to THIS DAY.

Not to mention, I'm pretty sure Team Pacquiao isn't too keen on the Mayweather fight themselves, like I said since day one of the negotiations.

Couple those two things together, and this fight doesn't get made.

And trust me, with Floyd's legal fees, and notorious ******** habits, he wants, and NEEDS the Pac fight.

Team Pac just doesn't want none.

They don't want the gravy train to end, once Pac gets exposed.

Because mark my words: That's exactly what would happen.
I'd be stingy too if I were in Bob Arum's shoes. Don't forget Oscar de la Hoya, too. Oscar dumped him AND went on to make a rival company. Bob's a ****...

Pac will not have a chance of winning against Floyd unless he let go of his baggages. Politics, TV/showbiz, nightlife and most importantly his marital problem which showed in JMM3 fight. And even with these problems aside, he will most likely lost to Floyd. But Floyd figures that Pac has a bigger chance of winning than anybody he has ever fought which caused him being hesitant.

even though pac fights twice a year... he still seems to be a "part-time" fighter... you could see the frustration and impatience from pac during the jmm fight... pac doesnt like to think. he just wants to trade.

floyd would no doubt be the most mentally challenging fight for pac.
